Nikhil and Priya’s New York City Engagement Shoot

Posted on October 21, 2010

I am very much looking forward to photographing Nikhil and Priya’s upcoming wedding in Orlando this December at the fabulous Gaylord Palms. As a South Florida wedding photographer I look forward to working in different places, so Nikhil and Priya’s Orlando wedding is very much anticipated. Many thanks to them for their cooperation and enthusiasm in New York! I hope you enjoy this sample of our shoot.

It was a beautiful Fall day for Nikhil and Priya’s New York City engagement shoot! They wanted to do their shoot not just at New York City’s Central Park, but in its gorgeous Conservatory area. Mostly reserved for weddings and special events, the Conservatory is a very special part of Central Park – tucked away and private without the crowds of people that roam the rest of the park. We spent some time in the actual Conservatory and then roamed about Central Park as we continued to enjoy the beautiful autumn day in New York. Engagement shoots in New York City are so much fun – there are endless places to shoot and just Central Park alone affords many, many different picturesque locations.

Doreen and Arturo’s Miami Destination Wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne

Posted on October 11, 2010

Out of all of the available locations in South Florida, the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne is truly one of the most spectacular in which to have a wedding. Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne weddings afford both the bride and groom as well as their guests absolute luxury on every level. Everything from the rooms, to the food, to the magnificent grounds and pristine South Florida beach, the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne never ceases to amaze me with its beauty and ultra classy ambiance.

As a South Florida wedding photographer, I photograph many destination weddings and Doreen and Arturo’s recent wedding was both festive and colorful. With a distinct Latin influence that included mariachis playing during the reception, this Miami destination wedding definitely provided a good time for all! We began the wedding photography at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne and then continued to St. Agnes Catholic Church, also on Key Biscayne and then back to the hotel for more pictures and the reception. Doreen’s sister, Veronica, was on hand as wedding planner for the event. As this is her profession, she did a fabulous job for her sister, ensuring that everyone worked together to create an amazing event.

Doreen and Arturo could not have picked more spectacular sites for the wedding ceremony and reception. Both the church and hotel are among the most beautiful in this area. For out of town wedding guests, the South Florida area, specifically Miami, offers so many varied things to do from museum hopping to bar hopping to the South Beach restaurant scene and of course, the magnificent beaches. The beach at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne is gorgeous, but if guests choose to venture back over the bridge to mainland Miami, there are plenty more beach areas to explore. I just love seeing how happy wedding guests are to be here in South Florida. Many not only come down for the joyous occasion, but also to soak in the sun and enjoy all this state has to offer.

I want to thank Doreen and Arturo for all their cooperation and enthusiasm on their wedding day! We had a great time getting some killer shots, as you will see in this post. I hope you enjoy them!

This just in from Tarah and Edward, February 6, 2010

Posted on October 5, 2010

We just received this wonderful e-mail from Tarah and Edward, whose wedding I photographed this past February at the Westin Colonnade and Epiphany Catholic Church in Miami. We did both the photography and video for their wedding and had a terrific time with them during the whole process, before, during and after the wedding. Although we often receive compliments from clients, this letter was especially thoughtful and appreciated. Many thanks to Tarah and Edward for their kindness. Here is a glimpse of their special day.

Hello Robin and Jeff,

I just wanted to tell you how incredibly thrilled Edward, our families, and I are with the wedding album! I knew that the pictures were beautiful, but I never anticipated that they could possibly be even more beautiful! While it proved challenging to choose our favorite pictures from the hundreds of stunning photos you took on our wedding day, it has proven even more challenging for us to put the photo album down and attend to our daily tasks. I would honestly spend all day staring at it if I could!

However, this album is just the icing on the cake! From day one, our experience with both of you has been phenomenal! From the first inquiry emails I wrote, both of you have been extremely helpful, kind, attentive, and patient. After meeting Jeff, I knew that he was the only person I wanted to "follow me around" on my wedding day. Our incredible engagement photo shoot only confirmed that I had made the right choice in choosing the only person that I believed would be able to capture all of the beauty, emotion, and love that I wanted in my wedding photos. Jeff, you definitely did just that! These amazing wedding pictures have allowed us to relive our special day over and over again. We simply can't thank you enough for capturing the details that made our wedding day so unique and special to us and to our families. Every time I look at the album, I feel like I did on my wedding day. It makes me feel like my wedding never ended; you made our wedding last forever!

We are so grateful for our experience with both of you and for all of your hard work, creativity, and professionalism!

Sincerely,
Tarah and Edward
